Features include a motorized coarse feed that enables rapid trimming and sectioning of standard and non-standard material. The motorized course feed allows the user to trim from 1 to 60 µm with a 59 mm vertical stroke and a 25 mm horizontal specimen feed.

Temperature settings can be set from a range of 0℃ to -35℃ and is also equipped with a temperature shelf that cools to -45℃. All program parameters are protected in the event of a main power failure by a battery-backup.
